Acts 2:38 - The Original New Testament Plan
of Salvation
ACTS 2:38 states the acts of obedience of the first century Ecclesia (assembly or church) to the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is God's powerful way of saving all people who have faith. What did they do and how should we do the same?
Step 1: HAVE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOUR AND REPENT
NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH:
Salvation itself. Believing is absolutely essential, but only the first step! See Acts 8:12–17 and 11:14–18.
Step 2: BE BAPTIZED BY IMMERSION IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH:
Repeating the titles “Father-Son-Holy Ghost/Spirit” sprinkling or pouring! See Acts 8:35–38 and 19:1–6.
Please see the article on: Matthew 28:19
Step 3: RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM EVIDENCED BY SPEAKING TONGUES AND THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control".
One can speak in tongues all they like however Yahusha (Jesus) said in Matthew 7:16-20 "By their fruits you will know them" If one does not manifest the fruits of the Ruach (Spirit) then they may not be filled with the correct Ruach (Spirit).
NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH: Tongues as a prayer language or one of the gifts of the Spirit! See John 7:38–39 and Acts 10:44–48
Why wait? Obey ACTS 2:38 and experience the original
salvation plan!
Nowhere in the Bible did anyone baptize in any other formula but Acts 2:38 in the NAME singular. The Trinitarian formula of Matthew 28:19 in the Titles is a later addition to the text in fact it was a fraud that Constantine changed the verse to support the new doctrine that is completely un-biblical.
