In my opinion, our teaching of the end time beast, and all that is associated with the end time beast is incorrect. Many of us have been taught that the end time beast, will be the Roman Empire revived. 

We may have been taught that the European Union is that revived Roman Empire. Or, maybe we have been taught that the New World Order is the end time beast.

Because a whole lot of current events line up with end time prophecy, I do not think any of the above scenarios are correct. And so, that's what rd like to address in this article. The end time beast: who or what is it?

First, let's look at some scriptures about the end time beast.

Daniel 2:37-44, 37, "Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the Elah of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and esteem. 38, "And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and path made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. 39, "And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. 40, "And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. 41, "And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42, "And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43, "And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. 44, "And in the days of these kings shall the Elah of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45, "Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great Elah bath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure."

Daniel 7:1-8. 1, "in the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters. 2, "Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. 3, "And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. 4, "The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. 5, "And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. 6, "After this I beheld, and to another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. 7, "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. 8, "I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things."

In the book "A History of the True Church," by A. N. Dugger and C. O. Dodd, on page 26 it says: "As the vision begins with Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon (Daniel, chapters two and seven), the first beast would represent this king and his kingdom; the second beast, the kingdom that overthrew the Babylon empire, viz., the Medes and Persians, the bear; the third, like unto a leopard, symbolizes the third kingdom to rule the world, which all history tells us was the Grecian empire, under Alexander the great. The fourth beast, with ten horns, symbolizing the fourth kingdom, represents the Roman empire, for it was the fourth in order down from king Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon."

A little further down the page it says, "In Daniel, seventh chapter, the ten horns upon this beast are said to be ten kings (verse 24), and another, arising among them, plucks up three of the ten horns, and makes war with the "saints of the Most High." This beast was the fourth in order. 

The Roman Empire was also the fourth kingdom; consequently this beast corresponds with the Roman kingdom."

Dugger and Dodd go on to say that the little horn of Daniel 7:8 was the pope, and that this papal horn plucked up three of the ten kings of the roman empire, the last one being plucked up in the year 538 A.D.

Well that all fits very well, except for the fact that we have to look way back into the distant past to make this scenario fit.

Some say that the end time beast will be a revived Roman empire, and they say that this will be/is the European Union. There is a huge problem with this theory. Do you know how many nations are currently in the European Union? There are 25 nations in the E.U.! There are 15 nations in Western Europe and 10 in Eastern Europe, for a total of 25 nations. So if the E.U. represents the fourth beast of Daniel, we have a beast with 15 toes on one leg and 10 toes on the other! The E.U. simply does not fit the description of Daniel chapters 2 and 7.

Some things to note:

*This beast is exceedingly strong, yet weak (Daniel 2:41)

*This beast is dreadful and terrible

*It breaks/wears out governments

*It is different from the previous three beasts

The little horn sprouting out from this beast is the Anti-Messiah. Dugger & Dodd said this is: the pope.

I would like to explore the idea that Islam fits all of the above, and much more!

The ten horns are ten kings with nations, and Daniel mentions a plucking that was to take place of three of these ten nations. These are the nations that represented these ten horns that were formed:

*1. Turkey

*2. Syria

*3 Lebanon

*4 Egypt

*5. Jordan

*6. Saudi Arabia

*7 Iran (Persia)

*8 Mosul (plucked)

*9. Basrah (plucked)

*10. Baghdad (plucked)

Mosul, Basrah, and Baghdad were carved out from the region of the Middle East by the British Government in 1922, but these three horns were not even able to establish their roots. It's interesting to note that the Aramaic word that is translated as plucked up by the roots in Daniel 7:8 is `agar,' which means: to pluck out, that is, to not allow to be established! Mosul, Basrah, and Baghdad were not allowed to be established! They were plucked up by the roots.

To understand this 0 beast of Daniel, notice that, in Daniel 2:45, the stone that was cut out of the mountain without hands (representing Yahusha) broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold. This represents all four of the beasts in Daniel! The empires of Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece came and went, but these three empires continue in the fourth beast with the Eastern leg of the Roman Empire which is Islam. Islam occupies all the Middle Eastern regions of these empires.

Daniel 2:43, "And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay."

The legs of iron are the Islamic Empire that continued from Rome in the Middle East. The ten toes, partly weak and partly strong, are the Arab nations, which have strength but also have division amongst them. The Muslims are always fighting with each other. They mingle with the seed of men, but do not adhere to each other. Even the Aramaic word for mingle is "Arab"! Islam is an Arab kingdom that is mingled with the seeds of different nations, all Islamic nations, that is the end-time army, an all-Muslim army. We have always said that the only nation that could possibly have a 200,000,000-man army is China. 

This is also possible with the Islamic nations.

Ezekiel 35 is all about the judgment of Islamic nations. Yahuah describes them as Mount Seir. A mountain is an allegoric term for a kingdom in the scriptures.

Ezekiel 35:1-5, "Moreover the word of Yahuah came unto me, saying, 2, "Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it, 3, "And say unto it, Thus saith the Sovereign Yahuah; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. 4, "I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am Yahuah. 5, "Because thou bast had a perpetual hatred, and bast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:"

Mount Seir represents the entire Islamic world. Mount Seir is the name of the fifty-mile long mountain range south-southeast of the Dead Sea. This is Jordan today. Jordan happens to be ruled by the only Hashemite king (from the tribe of Muhammad). It is the ancient land of Edom, where Esau settled as the Bible shows us.

Genesis 36:8, "Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom."

Verse 5 Of Ezekiel 35 tells us of a perpetual hatred. This goes all the way back to Genesis and extends all the way in history until the completion of the judgments in the book of Revelation.

Gen. 27:41, "And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob."

Later Esau married into the Ishmaelites, and so the two became one family.

Genesis 28:9, "Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife."

And Ishmael and Esau were warriors, brigands and terrorists.

Genesis 16:11, "And the angel of Yahuahsaid unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because Yahuahhath heard thy affliction. 12, "And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren."

Revelations 13:1-15, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the  name of blasphemy. 2, "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3, " And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast."

The empire that was brought to a close by the British, French, and the Australians in 1924 [Ottoman Empire] was Islamic. This beast was mortally wounded, but not eradicated completely.

4, "And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and theyworshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5, "And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6, "And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against Elohim, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7, "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8, "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the  book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9, "If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10, "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. 11, "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12, "And he ezerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed."

This is the rise of fundamentalist Islam all over the world in every country. The two horns are the two major divisions of Islam: the Sunni and the Shiites.

13, "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14, "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15, "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

What is the image of the beast?

To understand what the image of the beast is, first let's go to Genesis 1:26. "And Elohim said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:..." Yahuah created us in His image. Just as Yahuah has the ability to communicate, express love, and share wisdom and intelligence, so do we, because we are created in His image. We have some of the same attributes as Yahuah. 

So the image of the beast has the same characteristics as the I" beast. Fundamentalist Islam is rising up all over the world with the same image of the 1 °` beast of Rev. 13. Verse 2 of Rev 13 says, "...the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority." We all know that the dragon represents Satan. What many people do not understand is that the el of Islam, Allah, is Satan or at the very least has the same characteristics of Satan.

To understand that Allah is in fact Satan, all we have to do is look at a few quotes from the Quean. The Quean says that Rah is the Arabic word for El, and that Allah is his name. Quean 3:62, "This is the true explanation: there is no Ilah except Allah." Quean 5:4, "Pronounce the name of Allah, and fear Allah." Quean 20:14, "Verily, I am Allah. No Ilah may be worshipped but I." Quean 20:97, "Your Ilah is Allah: there is no Ilah but he." And who is it that wants to be as Yahuah?

Isaiah 14:12, "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13, "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohim: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of

the north: 14, "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."

And so this beast gets its power from Satan.

Revelation l7:1, "And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:"

Does Rome sit on many waters? 

Rome has only one ocean: the Mediterranean Sea.! 

However, the Arab League is surrounded by the following waters: the Persian Gulf, the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Gulf Oman, the Mediterranean Sea, the Caspian Sea, and the Black Sea. Does this sound like many waters?

2, "With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication."

"The kings of the earth" refers to the nations of the world buying their oil. 

Fornication refers to the fact that these nations have "sold Islam" as a peaceful, good religion to their people. That is the wine of her fornication: selling this as good, when it is evil. Saudi Arabia not only sells oil, but also sells the Islamic religion to the world. Many people dare not question their government because they know that, without the oil, their economies would not survive. Plus, the governments do make plenty of money from fuel sold. In France, $2.82 of every $4 gallons of gas is taxes. In Germany, $2.56 of every $4 gallons is taxes. In Italy, $2.53 of every $4 gallon is taxes. 

In the UK, $5 of every $6 gallon is taxes. In the USA 39 cents of every $2.00 gallon is federal taxes. That is not to mention state and local taxes. And all of these statistics are based on old data. Now ask yourself, if Saudi Arabia was to be blown up tomorrow, will the kings of the nations weep and wail, or not? How many economies will go bust?

3, "So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns."

The woman is the harlot city of Mecca, selling its whoredom to the world. The scarlet color represents the Islamic kingdom with blood on its hands. Saudi Arabia has funded much of the worldwide terrorism that we have seen. Islam blasphemes Yahuah by replacing Him with Allah.

4, "And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:" 

The woman is the city. Purple represents riches. This is a very rich city. Scarlet represents a sinful city, which is living in sin, killing the saints.

5, "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."

This is Islamic headquarters, "Mystery Babylon", which many people have failed to recognize.

Yahuah calls all Islamic countries prostitutes, but Mecca is the mother of harlots. Today fiftytwo nations have an Islamic majority, and the Muslim presence in all other nations of the world is increasing at alarming rates.

6, "And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Yahusha: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration."

This empire/kingdom kills and devours Christians and torah keeping disciples of Yahusha, and thus has gotten the blood of saints on its hands.

7, "And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 8, "The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is."

Those that wonder at this beast, this empire, are the Muslims. Their names are not written in the book of life. This beast was, and at the time John penned Revelation, it is not. The Roman Empire was still in effect at that time, so this beast cannot be Rome. This beast ascends out of the bottomless pit. That should not be hard to see, since it gets its power from Satan.

9, "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth."

Many prophecy teachers have wrongly made out the seven mountains here to be seven hills in order to make prophecy line up with the idea that this refers to Rome. However, the Greek word used in this passage is "oros" [3735], which can only be a mountain. The Greek word for hill is "bounos" [1015]. Mecca is a city surrounded by seven prominent mountains. They are: Jabal Quba, Jabal al Qinaa, Jabal Li Aali, Jabal Jifan, Jabal Jijad, Jabal Qubais, and Jabal Hindi.

10, "And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11, "And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition."

Points to note:

*Five have fallen--that's five past empires

*Egyptian Empire

*Assyrian Empire

*Babylonian Empire

*Medo-Persian Empire

*Grecian Empire

*One is--the current Roman Empire in John's day 

*The other has not yet come- the 7th

Islamic empire that was still to come in the future. This was the Ottoman Empire [Islamic]. It was brought down after WWI, but not completely destroyed. The angel told John in Rev. 17:10 that this king (empire) was yet to come. So there is no way it could be Rome.

*He (the 8th beast) is of/from the seven/seventh. This is the revival of Islam--worldwide.

Revelation 13:11-15, "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12, "And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13, "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14, "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15, "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

Note these points:

*V.11 -- "I beheld another beast," the revival of radical Islam

*V.15 - Giving breath to the image of the beast does not mean giving breath to some statue. It means giving life to the religion of Islam and resurrecting it back to its former glory. This is literally a revival of Islam in the world and it is happening fast.

Revelation 17:12, "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast."

There will be 10 kings/nations involved that give their allegiance to the beast. If we start adding up the official Arab/Muslim nations, we can find enough to qualify for this task.

13, "These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

14, "These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Sovereign of sovereigns, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

15, "And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues."

In verse 1 we looked at the literal meaning [pashat] of "many waters." Now verse 15 is bringing out a deeper understanding [Brash] of "many waters." (4 levels =,pashat, remez, Brash, & sod) Verse 15 is describing Saudi Arabia in detail, because its residents are made up of many nations and it sits between many peoples. There are foreign workers from many different countries in Saudi Arabia. For instance there are workers there from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines,Indonesia, Sudan, Egypt Morocco, Yemen, Afghanistan, UK, USA, Emirates, France, Germany, and many other countries.

Revelation 17:16, "And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore. and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire."

AI-Qaeda wants to take over Saudi Arabia and destroy the House of Saud, because they do not consider the members of the House of Saud to be good Muslims. They do not even care if they bomb their holy city of Mecca, as long as their objectives are met.

Rev. 17:17, "For Elohim hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of Elohim shall be fulfilled."

Yahuah will bring this about. He has put it in their hearts. AI-Qaeda is ready to destroy Saudi cities. The threat and destruction of Mecca is imminent.

18, "And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth."

This great harlot-city Mecca has authority over all the kings of the earth, because of the power of the oil, which the Kings need to further their wealth. The Saudis have successfully used this powerful leveraging tool of oil to change world opinion in their favor. With this they can, and have, corrupted the nations with Islamic influence.

There is much more to say on this topic. If I have the opportunity, I would like to cover what many of the prophets have to say. Also, I would like to discuss the mark of the beast.
